#Prakasam19 virtual festival for Prakasam's 19th Birthday

Hello, Prakasam is turning 19 this November, since it is the last teen we are planning to have fun, through some performing arts tasks for 19 days in November, it is compulsory to some and it is open to all, even people who have been enjoying our production over the years... Lets have fun!!!

This is how you do it...

1. Record a video on the activity you chose

2. Post it on Facebook (if you are not on FB share it on twitter or insta & Send us the video, we will share locally) with #Prakasam19 and let us know

3. Remember to post it on or before the date of your activity

4. We shall share it with all other mentioned activities on Prakasam page on Facebook

Nov 13 Sing a song with a color in the title

Nov 14 Enact 5 Punch-lines of your favorite movies

Nov 15 Do a dance-off with your favorite dancing star

Nov 16 Sing a song/ enact a line in a completely new language

Nov 17 Song with number/s in the pallavi (first paragraph of the song)

Nov 18 Dress up like your favorite actor & act out a line

Nov 19 Do classical dance to popular music

Come and join us as a  Production Intern .  Fill in THIS FORM  & let us know your intent to join Prakasam. The Production Intern Program offers you the opportunity to work alongside professional artists and managers at the forefront of an award-winning regional not-for-profit theatre group.  Please note that during the production internship two days absence is accepted, a third day if the reason is genuine.  If you can not attend more than three day's then it would be difficult for us to spend time with you and also on our production.  Kindly stick to the day's and times mentioned for the production.  This is what would define your interest and commitment the two basic characters we look at as a team and which is primary to any theatre production. Katha Sangama "Bouquet of Stories"  There has been a trend of short plays in the modern time of timelessness. We are so used to instant food, job, friendship, money we are also bombarded with requests for short plays. We now have successfully prepared the “Bouquet of Stories” exclusively for you. Marking the 100th birth anniversary of Kodagina Gowramma , the gallant feminist writer at her times (1912-1939) we are staging her short story too as part of this festival.  The play is in Kannada and the exquisite selection of the stories will make you want more.
