Ranjita's musical début at Prakasam

My musical début at Prakasam Apoorva, Ranjitha & Alok singing @ RA2014 The ray of composer emerged in me when I got an opportunity to compose music the poems of the veteran of Kannada literature Dr.G.S.Shivarudrappa.  I got transformed myself in the poetic world of GSS. The first poetry which inspired me to compose, 'Belaku hariyithu', is a masterpiece in itself that evokes the vibrancy of life's philosophy. In the dwindled state, I thought of composing it in morning raags bhairav or Ahir bhairav to illustrate the divine light of dawn, but ended up charukeshi raag which blends the powerful emotions of profundity and pain. To enhance the joyous emotions and to undermine the serious note, I have experimented the suffocation of darkness with the intervention of light.
