ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು - ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಠಾಗು ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಆಧರಿತ ನಾಟಕ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 30, 31 ಮತ್ತು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2010. ಕೆ. ಎಚ್. ಕಲಾಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು 60ರ ದಶಕದ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಲೇಖಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ವಾಣಿಅವರ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಇದನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತಾನೆ ಮರೆಯಲು ಆಗುತ್ತೆ? ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರತಿ 1969ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅಪಾರ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಇದನ್ನ ಆಗಿನ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ದೊರೈ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಜೋಡಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕಣ್ಮಣಿ ಡಾ. ರಾಜ್ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿತ ಜೋಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದ ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ನೋಡಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರೆ  ಪ್ರಕಸಂತಂಡದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಇಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದವರಿಗೆಂದು ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗೆ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲದೆ, ವಾಣಿಯವರ ಮೂಲಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿ, ಹೊಚ್ಚಹೊಸ ರಂಗ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ತರುವ ತಯಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೀಮು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  ನಾಟಕ, ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರದ ಹದವಾದ ಈ ವಿಷೇಷ ಮಿಶ್ರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಕಸಂ (ಮೊದಲು ಫೋರ್ಥ್ ಕಾರ್ನರ್) ತಂಡದ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ. ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು 1982ರಲ್ಲಿ ತ...

When a confession brings a man and a woman face to face with reality, it has repercussions far beyond what they could have imagined. As further confessions and events unfold, they threaten to tear a family apart. Skeletons tumble rapidly from cupboards and it becomes increasingly unclear as to who is the victim and who is the victimizer. The facade of sophistication is gradually unmasked and the people involved come face to face with themselves. For example, about two people who are somewhat related to each other, but not by blood or directly via marriage, it is said – “ In Vaave, you are a brother/sister/uncle/aunt to me”.
