The story has reached the audiences first as the novel in the 60’s & the movie in the 80’s. Prakasam had the responsibility of creating the stage version keeping in mind the message and the success of its previous two versions. Athmakuri’s troupe, including the tribute celebration program of Guru Vempati Chinna Satyam’s birthday in D.C. She was one of the youngest to play the role of Uttara, a noteworthy character in a dance drama that toured the U.S.A..She did her Rangapravesam in Kuchipudi (solo debut performance) under Smt.
