Kushal Gowda, has imbibed art and performing arts since childhood; although he does not belong to a family of artists. Having successfully completed junior and senior levels in Carnatic Classical Vocal during school days, he has many awards to his credit in music.

He discovered the actor in him, when he was made to perform in several skits in during his early years at school. Since then, Kushal has grown fond of acting and has also won various awards for his acting; including title “PRATIBHA KARANJI” bestowed by the State Government of Karnataka. His performance in a mono-act at Dehradoon for a National level competition brought him a lot of recognition.

During his days as a student at Jain University, he took to participating in acting related competitions and represented his college at various inter-collegiate fests. He won the ‘Best Actor’ award from Bangalore University under Bharata Yatra Kendra.

Though Kushal already has few feathers in his hat, he is still enthusiastic and is always eager to learn every detail of acting. Mentioned below are his acting accomplishments-

Katha Sangama "Bouquet of Stories"  There has been a trend of short plays in the modern time of timelessness. We are so used to instant food, job, friendship, money we are also bombarded with requests for short plays. We now have successfully prepared the “Bouquet of Stories” exclusively for you. Marking the 100th birth anniversary of Kodagina Gowramma , the gallant feminist writer at her times (1912-1939) we are staging her short story too as part of this festival.  The play is in Kannada and the exquisite selection of the stories will make you want more. With eight Jnanapeth Awards and stalwarts to choose from we had to read more than 120 short stories written between early 1930’s to 2011 to arrive at this unique bouquet.
