Praveen has undergone a year long film acting course in vijaya film institute. He has performed as supporting characters in Kannada serials and movies. Notable performances are in the movie Yogi (hero friend's character), as the negative actor in Minchu, Kanasali Jotheyali, Channama IPS, in production no 9 in Tamil. With Prakasam he has acted in Doosra, 13 Margosa Mahal. Short film stints in Kannada, Hindi and English.

He is currently playing the male lead in Ratha and Chaddi Dosthi.

Apart from these he loves to dance and is practising with Choreographer Ajay. He is also going through vigorous training with action director Kowrawa Venktesh. In his spare time he indulges in swimming, gymnasium, kick-boxing, bike stunts...
