We have been conducting workshops online from the time lockdown hit us.  Currently two workshops are on for the teams in Australia and Canada.  We wanted to do the same to many individuals who have been messaging us to organise one.  So here we go.... we bring to you BMTC!! yeah I love how it sounds and how it is the lifeline of our city Bengaluru.  It takes everyone everywhere, it won't ask you where are you from or who are you? this workshop aims at achieving a performing arts goal at the end of the workshop.  We have listed FAQ's here, if you have any further questions you can ask us at prakasamtrust@gmail.com or whatsapp us on +917259998222. What are the three stops put on the poster?

Stop 1: Footboard: For starry eyed beginners who will learn the ropes of the trade of performing arts.  This would be for 7 sessions & would cost 1000 Rs. per person. This is your ticket to creative freedom.

Stop 2: Standers: For those who have already experienced performing in a performing arts and want to explore it more.  This would be for 7 sessions & would cost 1000 Rs. per person.  This is your pass to learning refinements of theatre.

Stop 3: Chairman: The pros who want to produce something of their own.  Yes we will come together to create a showcase of a performing arts masterpiece to be put up to public. This would be for 7 sessions & would cost 1000 Rs. per person.  We would provide you hosting, pay per view setup for the performance.

FAQs

What is the duration of the course?
There are three stops or stages for the course, each stage is for 7 sessions.  When we select the members and you decide to do it in 7 consecutive days the duration would be 7 days, if the group decides to do it over 3 days a week then it would last 3 weeks.  We believe and practice team work & respect democracy.

What should I pay?
Each stop costs 1000 rupees per person.  If you wish to finish all the three one after the other then 3000.

Do i get a receipt for my payment?
Yes you would receive an e receipt to the mail ID you have provided us with.

What will I learn?
In fact it would be what we would learn.  We believe in experiential learning, and from all our learnings of all the different Internship Programmes, Workshops (Images), that you get to learn a lot about yourself, making you a completely positive person with positive attitude.

Who will teach me?
Since we are learning with you it would be mutual teaching as well as learning.  If you insist, then we have had people viz Sihi Kahi Chandru, Mandya Ramesh, Raghu Dixit, V Manohar, Sridhar V Sambhram, Sundar, Rajendra Karanth, Nagendra Shaa, Supriya Lohith, Krishna Hebbale, Upasana Mohan,  PD Sathish Chandra & many more work with us in the past.

Where will this be?
This is a virtual workshop, it will be where you have good internet connection.  We use Zoom or Google Meet to interact.  The final performance (in the past) is put on the YouTube channel and we have learnt how to create a Pay Per View system if your group wishes to monetize the performance.

Will I get certified?
Yes you will get a certificate of participation (an e certificate, keeping the situation in mind) and a free lifetime membership to Prakasam Family  You would have got a lovely metal medal if you had attended any of our on ground workshops. Tough luck :) 

What's the age limit?
We will encourage anyone between the ages of 10-100 to participate in the workshop.

Can it be customised to a particular group and focused on a specific output?
Yes we conducted many corporate, school and group based seasons.

Since sessions are online can i connect with trainers for my doubts or queries?
Yes, you can, we would create a WhatsApp group with the instructors & members of the workshop for the duration of the workshop. 

How many members per batch?
We prefer minimum of 10 and maximum 15 participants per batch. More is not merrier here for the health of the final product and the workshop dynamics. 

How long is each session? 1 hour/2 hours? 
Each session is 90 minutes long.  We normally keep the last 15 minutes for interaction.  So better interact with us to learn together.

We are so used to instant food, job, friendship, money we are also bombarded with requests for short plays. We now have successfully prepared the “Bouquet of Stories” exclusively for you.
