The dates where you need to be present are as follows...

We will have a briefing meeting on May 29 at 7:30 PM where all the details of the production internship will be explained.  You are free to mail us at above mentioned ID for information.  Please note that two days absence is accepted, a third day if the reason is genuine.  If you can not attend more than three day's then it would be difficult for us to spend time with you and also on our production.  Kindly stick to the day's and times mentioned below.  This is what would define your interest and commitment the two basic characters we look at as a team and which is primary to any theatre production.

Who is a Production Intern:
Internships at the Prakasam (READ MORE) are designed to give creative and ambitious individuals who are interested in theatre the opportunity to work directly with professional theatre artists and administrators and the opportunity for students to bridge the gap between collegiate work and professional life. The goals of our Internship Program are to offer students and aspiring theatre professionals experiential learning and insight into a career path, facilitate opportunities to make professional contacts, and equip individuals with marketable skills for jobs and graduate programs in theatre and not-for-profit management.

We at Prakasam (READ MORE) believe in bringing in youth to theatre making them aware of their true potential. Our other aim is to generate newer audiences and enthuse them to get inclined to watching theatre.  All our Productions till date have been unique and demanding the audience to understand.  We have staged all our productions under Kala Krushi (READ MORE) projects and they have stood as example for the same.

The production 13 Margosa Mahal (READ MORE) has been most successful and will remain an enigma in the audience's heart.  Working with this production would definitely give you more exposure into the 5D experienced for the first time in Kannada Theatre History.

Katha Sangama "Bouquet of Stories"  There has been a trend of short plays in the modern time of timelessness. We are so used to instant food, job, friendship, money we are also bombarded with requests for short plays. We now have successfully prepared the “Bouquet of Stories” exclusively for you. Marking the 100th birth anniversary of Kodagina Gowramma , the gallant feminist writer at her times (1912-1939) we are staging her short story too as part of this festival.  The play is in Kannada and the exquisite selection of the stories will make you want more. With eight Jnanapeth Awards and stalwarts to choose from we had to read more than 120 short stories written between early 1930’s to 2011 to arrive at this unique bouquet.
