ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರಿಗೆ

ವಿಷಯ: ಪ್ರಕಸಂ ರಿಫ್ರೆಶ್ ಟಿ20 ರಂಗ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 12 & 13, 2022, ಸುಚಿತ್ರಾ ಪೂರ್ವಾಂಕರ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ 

ಪ್ರಕಸಂಗೆ ಕಳೆದ 21 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೀವು ನೀಡಿದ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಚಿರಋಣಿ.  ಕಲಾಸೌಧದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವಿನ್ನು ಮರೆತಿಲ್ಲ.  ಪ್ರಕಸಂಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ತುಂಬಿದ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಾಟಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹುರುದುಂಬಿಸಲು ರಿಫ್ರೆಶ್ ಟಿ20 ಅನ್ನೋ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  ಈ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ತಂಡಗಳು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ನಿಮಿಷದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ನಾಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  

ನಾಟಕ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯ ಒಟ್ಟು ಬಹುಮಾನದ ಮೊತ್ತ 35000, ಮೊದಲ ಬಹುಮಾನ 20000, ಎರಡನೇ ಬಹುಮಾನ 10000 ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರನೇ ಬಹುಮಾನ 5000 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರೂ ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ವೋಟ್ ಹಾಕುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ.  ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಟಿಕೇಟಿನ ಜೊತೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಮತಪತ್ರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮತ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.  ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ನಾಟಕಗಳಿವೆ.

What: #RefreshT20 Theatre Competition

Where: Suchitra Film Society, Purvankara Sabhanghana

When: Saturday, March 12 & Sunday, March 13, 2022

Who: Prakasam (Pradarshana Kala Samsthe)

Why: Prakasam celebrating 20th birthday

How: We thank you for your support over the past 21 years to Prakasam’s effort and especially remember your support during #SaveKalasoudha times.  Post the pandemic all performing arts got hit.  To revive the same and get the young theatre enthusiasts & audiences back to stage, we planned RefreshT20 (T for Theatre & 20 for number of plays & duration), a festival of short plays. 20 teams will perform 20 plays over 2 days in Suchitra’s main auditorium.  Total prize money of the festival is 35000, winner takes 20000, first runner up gets 10000 and second runner up gets 5000 INR.

The judges for the competition are not notified to the performing theatre groups and are hence Secret Judges.  Audiences too can vote for their favourite plays but it would be only possible if they are present at the staging in person.  The festival has plays in Kannada and English.
