History of Swaraaga & Workshop
Swaraaga, the musical brain child of PraKaSam, completed its anniversary on July 5th, 2015. We celebrated the day with a three hour performance with the team. The response was overwhelming and humbled us. We have been having people willing to join the team and show their singing talents and more than everything else their interest to join our team.
To cater to such aspirants we came up with a workshop performance to share our knowledge. The first edition was a runaway success and we had 16 aspirants who were chosen to attend our workshop. The workshop ended with 2 housefull shows of all these new young talented singers performing on the famous Kalasoudha stage. To see what we have been doing please visit www.prakasamtrust.org/ss
Workshop 4th Edition
We would now select interns from the auditions on 4th Mar 2018 4:00 PM at KalaKompound and train them in different forms of music, from voice culture to presentation during performance, from folk music to classical music, all channeled up to a grand show to celebrate the learning. There would a minimum of 15 sessions between auditions to performance where keeping the performance in mind the select singers would be molded to enthrall the audiences.
