Intern Speak: Workshop Film Shoot

ದಿನಾಂಕ 16 ಮತ್ತು 17 ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್‌ 2021 ಪ್ರಕಾಸಮ್‌ ತಂಡದವರು ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಸಶಿಪ್‌ಗಾಗಿ 4 ಆಸಕ್ತಿವುಳ್ಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಬೇಕು ಅಂತಾ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಕೊಡ್ತಾರೆ. ನನಗೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನೋದು ಆಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ತಿನಿ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್‌ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ PD ಸತೀಸ್‌ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ ಅವರು ಮೂಲ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನ ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್‌ ಶುರು ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಹೊಸದು ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ನೇರ ಕಲಿಕೆ. ಎರಡು ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಕಲಿಬಹುದಾ ಅನ್ನೋ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಯೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ. ದೃಶ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ, ವೇಷಭೂಷಣ, ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ angle, ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಹೇಗಿರ್ಬೇಕು, ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿತಾರೆ, ವಿವಿಧ angleಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಮಯ ಆಗಿರೋದಿಲ್ಲ ಸಮಯ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಸಮಯ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತೆ. ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಯ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡೋ ಜಾಗ ಅದು. ಸಮಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಏನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ನೋ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಸಮ್‌ ತಂಡ. ಇದೊಂದು ಅತ್ಯಧ್ಬುತವಾದ ಅನುಭವ. ತಂಡದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ, ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನ pick up and drop ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಲೋಕ್‌, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ತಿಂಡಿ-ಊಟ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್‌, PD ಸತೀಸ್‌ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸರ್. ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೀನಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ತಂಡದವರಿಗೆ, ಪ್ರಕಾಸಮ್‌ ತಂಡದವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕಾಣಲಿ ಅಂತ ಆಶಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುವ - ಅಂಕಿತಾ

From the time I got selected as an intern, I made up my mind that I would work hard and give my best at whatever task I am given. I didn't think I would learn that much in such a short period of time. After watching first hand I learnt that the art of shooting isn't an easy task and I had a newfound respect. Shooting same scenes from multiple perspectives at close-up and wide angles then sorting through all of it for the finished product. Also I learnt patience is an important virtue whenever you work with natural lighting that is sunlight and there is no room for error so shooting multiple takes until the director feels that it will be received well by the audience. I saw actors bringing their A-game in terms of dialogue delivery, voice modulation, expressions etc. and the amount of costumes they have to go through for every scene being shot. Everyone present has a major role to play irrespective of whether it is in front of or behind the camera. I am grateful to be able to meet and work with senior actors and an incredible set of people working on the short film who treated me well. Thank you so much PD Satish sir, Shri hari sir, Alok sir, Karthik sir and Pradeep sir for giving me this opportunity to work with everyone and being a part of this project. I pray for the best for both films, ನಿವಾರ್ಯ and ಮೀನಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ, that they perform really well and are loved by viewers and if given the opportunity I would love to work with everyone once again.

Thank you for giving the  opportunity for taking us as interns  in Prakasam workshop production. What I learnt there is the acting skills and how they manage the things in a shoot. What they show in tv is way different in spot the hard work scene by scene shoots, dialogue delivery, facial expression and technical parts. I'm so grateful for working with senior actors and the Director PD Sathish sir and thank u for picking up for the location Alok sir.
