Prakasam

  ರಂಗಪ್ರಯೋಗವಾಗಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಕಥಾಖಂಡ. ನಾಟಕ ಬೆಂಗ್ಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಜನವರಿ ೬ಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಸಂ ತಂಡ ಆರು ಖಂಡದ ಆರು  ಬರಹಗಾರರ ಸಣ್ಣಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ನಾಟಕವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದನ್ನು  ಕಥಾಖಂಡ ಅಂತ ಆಡಿದರು. ಪೋಸ್ಟರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಭಂ ದಿಸಿದ ಯಾವುದಾದರು ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕ  ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ಬದಲು (ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ನಾಟಕದ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳು ಇದೇ ತೆರನಾದ್ದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ) , ಆರು  ಬರಹಗಾರರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ  ಇವರಾರು ಅನ್ನುವ ತಲೆಕೆರೆತವಾಗಿ , ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಜಾಯಿಷಿ ಕೇಳದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರು. ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ  ಓದಿನವರಿಗೆ ಟಾಲಸ್ಟಾಯ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಕ ಟೈನ್‌ರ ಮುಖ ಕೊಂಚ ಪರಿಚಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದಿರಬಹದು. ಆದರೆ  ನಮಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕನೆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಮತಾಡುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕಾದರೆ , ಎಂಟನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ  ತರಗತಿಯ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ‘ಏ ಚಿನುವಾ ಅಚಿಬೆ’ ಅಂತ ಉದ್ಘಾರ ತೆಗೆದರು. ಉಳಿದ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು  ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಹಜ ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ನಾಟಕದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು  ನಾವಲ್ಲವೇನೊ ಅನ್ನುವ ಅನುಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಲೇ ಆಟ ನೋಡಿದೆವು. ತುಂಬ ಹಿಂದೆ ‘ಏವಂ ಇಂದ್ರಜೀತ್’ ಅನ್ನುವ ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಬಾದಲ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ್ ಬರೆದು ಆಡಿಸಿದಾಗ  ತುಂಬ ಸಂಚಲನವನ್ನು...

Yaksha the Mystery The play is designed to be a question answer thriller. We are all used to this format through various court room drama's and also investigative mystery stories.  Yaksha Prashne involves questions and answers both way's questioning our ethics and moral values.  How we have reached a level where we adjust the same to our needs and deeds.  The main protagonist Dharma is a lost soul who has nothing else on his mind except making money and having an expensive lifestyle.  How the conversation with Yaksha changes all that is for you to find out when we reveal it on stage.  Come watch, get entertained and empathise. Writer Tejas narrated the entire script with a few water breaks and the audience were patient throughout and keenly observed and noted the nuances of the play.  The session after the reading invited thoughts and potential changes as a feedback to ensure the play engages and enthuses the audience. Since the original play has a history of being performed successfully the translated version had a lot of interesting elements that were well retained and presented....

English: Road Awareness Street Play Kannada: ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬೀದಿ ನಾಟಕ Director: PD Sathish Chandra Writer: Chandan Shankar Year: 2024 Genre: Street Play Synopsis: A street play designed and executed specially for TKM and its employees to stay motivated to follow every rule of law when they are performing their duties. It takes its origins from the folk forms of Doddata & Sannata, popular even today in rural areas of Karnataka. There will be a Sutradhar (convener) for the whole production who will weave the story around the topics given to us before the performance, viz. Adverse effects of Drink & Drive, Seat Belt & Helmet, Fatigue, restless driving & harsh driving, Underage driving.
