They discuss their past lives while waiting to be moved to the next stage. As they move closer to finding a body, they have an interview with an audience member to find out if their body is suitable for them to enter. In the process they come to the realization that finding a new body is the equivalent of the death of the current experience. The souls understand they are always in the "in-between" and never “home”.
